AYF started as an outdoor recreation camp in 1993. As it developed aquatics became its centre. Lifesaving was then introduced into the program followed by First Aid, Lifeguarding, and Scuba Diving.
Our Program encourages Aboriginal youth to create a personal vision or goall in their lives by providing short and long term opportunities in the areas of Lifeguarding, Lifesaving, Scuba Diving, Health & Fitness, Nutrition, First Aid, and Recreational leadership.
We have supported many youth throughout the years to reach their full potential in the field of aquatics with many acheiving their Dive Master certification as well as Lifesaving Instructor and Lifeguarding at a competitive level.
