Experience Required: 1 to less than 7 months of experience

Job Duties:

• Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for children in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences
• Plan menus and create grocery lists
• Order and purchase food and supplies within budget
• Ensure kitchen and cooking areas are clean, organized, and safe
• Maintain inventory of kitchen equipment and supplies
• Collaborate with childcare staff to ensure meals are served at appropriate times
• Keep up to date with food safety regulations and best practices
• Train and supervise kitchen assistants as needed
